Been thinking about a flint, halfstock fowler for a couple years now. One that would resemble a NW Trade Gun that's been repaired. :)

Here's what I've come up with so far.

Walnut stock, 36" octagon to round barrel, 20 Ga

At this point, it's 6 1/2 pounds with the lock.

Going with one ramrod pipe, soldered directly to the barrel and no underlug.

So far, it has a better feel than what I was expecting.

Balances and shoulders sweet.

The pictures aren't that great. :barf:

It's a Davis ~~ Tryon lock.

Where did you get the Tryon Lock? I have been looking for one and nobody seems to have them in stock.

I've had it 4 or 5 years now, can't remember where it came from. :hmm:

They're big and throw a shower of sparks. I have one on another Trade Gun and love it.
