One of many firearms that Grand Dad hand built. This particular one is said to have been completed in the 1950's

 That's one fine looking rifle. Do you think that your Grand pa would be willing to adopt an older child?? I'm available   Vern

Seeing as how he's been dead for 33 years it's not looking very likely Ancient one.

:surrender: At my age, I'll probaly be seeing him soon enough any way. Then I can ask him myself. :shake: Vern

He did a very fine job. You are very lucky to have a grampa so talented.

That is a mighty fine piece. You're truly blessed to be endowed with such cool hand-me-downs. Got any more?

I have lots of firearms including NFA stuff but this is the only one that fit the scope of this forum. My uncle has the rest of my Grandfathers guns and as soon as I get some pics I will post them.

Very nice looking rifle and what a grandpa :hatsoff: who hands down such fine rifles.

You can be very proud of your grandpa.

:hatsoff:

Hope you will stay some decades longer with us and keep the tradition of bp and shooting muzzle loaders alive.

Hey, the old ones like you pass tradition to us young ones and teach us.

:v

I agree with Swampy. We have all looked at pictures of beautiful firearms placed on work benches, beds, and the floor with someones foot in the picture. A few extra minutes to put down a sheet or solid color blanket will make a world of difference in your photo.
