Antique, original 42 caliber (approx) smoothbore percussion rifle from 1852. 14" LOP, 58" OAL. Barrel measures 41 11/16" x 0.81" taper to 0.72". Bore has mild pits, frost. I think this could be restored to shootable, but stock needs work above the lock. Single action double set triggers function. 6lb 5 oz, no ramrod. Barrel marked 1852 18 BRAHNS? Davidson lock. Double set triggers and lock function. Faux striping on the stock. Front two underlugs in place. Underlugs have been moved on the barrel, so it may not be original to the stock.
