Grey Whiskers suggested this would be a good way to get to know some of you . I may have waited to long to sign up for the shoot but wanted to post anyway . I'm not much of a shot but I can usually keep all the lead going in the right direction . LOL . Anyway I'm in if not to late . thanks J.W.

Yep, that's the place, in the Hunlock Valley, right at the beginning of what they call "the Endless Mountains".

if we end up with a odd number of shooters, you or one of the other moderators could be their partner(we trust ya :shocked2: ) course we would have to do something to make it fair sence the poor fella would be handicapped :rotf: :rotf:

Here's our rules,

Contest Rules

Each member will fire one shot at his own target.

The target will be a standard sheet of printer paper with an X drawn thru the center from corner to corner.

Traditional Muzzleloading Firearms only!

Patched round ball only.

Open sights only.

All shots are to be fired offhand at 50 yards.

Remember back in the beginning when I said,

Find a partner who you think you can trust to shoot straight

? Here's the reason;

If you are the low scoring partner (shortest measurement), your partners score will be added to your own.
If you are the high scoring partner(longest measurement), your partners score will be subtracted from your own score! SURPRISE!

Targets will be scored by measuring the distance from the center of each shot to the center of the target.


Targets must be postmarked by January 31, 2010 and received by Feb 10,2010 to be eligible.

Targets that are ripped or mutilated beyond scoring, or targets showing more than 1 shot will be disqualified.


Targets will not be returned unless an S.A.S.E. is included.

Write your member screen name on your target so I know who you are.

hehehe. It's evilly ingenius. Took Musketmans sick idea and twisted it just a little to come up with this one. So it's sick AND twisted. hehehe.

The idea is to shoot worse than your partner, but just a little bit, whilst still managing to shoot better than everybody else. Good luck! :hatsoff:
