It's simple.

The two "endeavors" have absolutely nothing to do with each other. :peace:

Dont get me wrong. This forum has done as much to advance my skills as Dutch Shoultz did originally. I have found that there is a wealth of knowledge out there. This has not been available to me here, otherwise. I was simply commenting on the irony of it all. :peace:

I don't know what you're talking about here? I hand write out my messages and place them in the mail pouch. The wife
gets on old joe the family burro and takes them to the pony the entended party. Also what is this motor vehicle thing you're speaking of. :hmm:

When I first started out, there were no computers. All research was done by countless hours in libraries and buying books to study. Every-now-and-then, if lucky, you would meet someone with some insight into a topic you were interested in....then the rendezvous would end and you would go home and write letter after letter to the fellow. sometimes you would break down and call him...long distance! but, after the phone bill ($$$$) would come in, you would decide that letters were the best way to go. Now, at the push of a key, hundreds of learned people are there to answer any question you may have. Is it PC? In a far stretch, it is. You are kinda talking to someone in the next room by "passing notes"- you just can't see them (which may be a GOOD thing in some cases!)I look at it like the pony express with MUCH faster horses!!!! So, who knows what phase of communication will be used 100 years from now ....this may seem as primitive as writing a letter to the future blackpowder shooters.

We are only doing what our fore fathers would have done in their day, they used the most modern tools they had at that perticular time, as are we using the most modern tools that we have in our time. Ours are just a little faster and tick you off more....especially when they Don't work. So 100 years from now they will think the tools we use were from the stone age, much like we feel about all the hand tools that the colonists would have used.

I think all (most) you PC guys have your heads screwed on a little tight. You use most of the new stuff the world spits out and find some way to justify it but when it comes to inlines...........

I would offer two comments regarding your statement.

1. You don't know me well enough to make that judgment.

2. You're entitled to your opinion, even if you're mistaken.

This is PC correct when you are freezing your butt off at the Alafia trying to use your computer in the rainy cold. Had to put my "Italian" curtians all around just to stay warm and hide the "MACHINE":nono: :nono: Maybe I should make a buckskinn case for it. And the Car battery worked nice. Lots of power...can you find the chords??:results::results: :blah:

Tipis, the nice thing about lap-top computers is that they are also lap warmers... :winking:

Tipis,.... I was wonder'n when you were finally gonna post a picture!! :haha: :haha:

I think all (most) you inline guys try to justify modern inlines as be'n real muzzleloaders rather than modified centerfires,.... and this computer gives me the ability to share my opinion with more people............ ::

I didn't want to post that one.....there are more...But I look terrible in the morning. :haha: :haha:
Had to cover up my head because it was so cold and I have 5 layers of clothing on.  The car battery is in one of the red boxes. :applause:

Becoming definitly great at hiding the modern gear. You should see what I intend to do for the Southeastern.

I was teased quite a bit about my curtains....No...the Pizza is not free or delivered under 30 minutes. After a while I changed the curtains to plads....then got the Scotish restraunt jokes. :: ::

Have decided to keep the strip and plad curtains for windy and cold days...who says all tents must be "white" and the Italian cloth is going inside my tent to make privacy curtains for my bed. :snore:that should keep in the body heat.  "NO body knows the....."

I said most. What you say in your posts shows what category you are in.

I can't control 95% of what happens around me in my life. It's nice when I can take a bit of effort (and discipline) and get an enjoyable result from it.

I'd rather try and know my ancestors better from having attempted to walk in the shoes of Robert Rogers instead of those of Buck Rogers or whatever an in-line is supposed to be. Half space-age, half-iron age, half arsed busturd of a rifle that they are.

(This isn't the modern categories, I can let go here. ::)
