Thanks! I misspelled "Misaligned". The mainspring end does not rest on the tumbler correctly. In my post "Building a Pecatonice Longrifle"Congratulations on you work building a beautiful rifle!
What do you mean by a "mid-aligned mainspring that will be corrected? I have the same lock for a TVM Leman rifle I hope to build, so I'm curious if I should be looking out for something. HaHa! I can only hope for ignition as fast as yours!
Good luck on your trip to PA!
That’s a wonderful compliment, thank youBeautiful is somehow inadequate; the purity of line stands out (as does the figure!).
Thank you Gtrubicon!Another work of art!
Thank you Dave, your a big inspiration for me. I’m gratefulNice rifle Bob. Good job!

I use a blend of dyes, followed by boiled linseed oil rubbed and rubbed and topped with a wiping varnish.I like that color a lot, now I have to ask what did you use? Your customer is getting a really nice rifle...
Looks like I'm going to do some blending to get that cool color. ThanksI use a blend of dyes, followed by boiled linseed oil rubbed and rubbed and topped with a wiping varnish.
