The Pedersoli Hawken is a nice rifle.
Off the bench, 3 shots will touch each other at 75 yards. Fit, finish and workmanship are excellent and I do like the German silver front sight, it shows up in low light conditions very well.
To me, there are only 2 things which I find negative about the rifle. For the cost of the walnut rifle, I think there should be better figured wood. The second negative for me personally, I have to crawl up the stock a bit to see through the sights, the stock just does not fit me personally. But, in all honesty, I do not like much drop in a stock, just my physical build.
I also own a Tryon and I went through a dozen of them to pick the one I wanted, thus it has really nice wood. The Tryon physically fits me better than the Hawken.
I hunt with the Hawken and use the Tryon for silohuettes.
Given a choice between the 2 rifles, it would be a hard choice.
If you get the Hawken, you will be happy with it.
