Be wary of the person with just one gun!
Well, in some cases that may be true but in this case a follow up shot with the 'one gun' is going to be a little bit of a problem.

I'll stick with the modern thing that rides my hip daily.....

"Beware of the man with only one gun"

As for Antifa and BLM? doubt they have ever seen a "real" riot. My Money says 90% of em are only visible as soles of stolen tennis shoes when the smoke clears after the "one shot" drops beloved leader?

Ok, just one story from my mental archives.

As a rookie cop my FTO and I met this hulk of a man. He was in the "import/export business " and well known to local officials.

My FTO told me if it ever went bad with this behemoth and I had to shoot him to empty my Glock into his head, cause he had survived 11 shots to the chest from a 9mm. I chuckled and muttered Bull$}{!《.

Eight years later I end up taking him into custody on felony warrants. We knocked on his door he let us in, him holding his 1 year old. He said he'd come along peaceful and please let him call his wife to take the child. We did.

I get him booked in our jail, waiting transport to county jail.
We've gotten along great, so after I turn the big brass key to keep us separated I ask about the rumor.

He chuckles, peels off his shirt and there were ELEVEN pucker marks on his chest, all inside the #7 ring on a B-27 target, one right over where what my father called "the waterpump" should be.

Someone had wanted him dead in a very bad way.

He said the Drs. had left several bullets inside as it was more of a risk getting them out.

People are all individuals. I've worked over 50 shootings, most fatal. But some lived when no way they should have.

I may only NEED one shot, but you can bet your asphalt I'll HAVE MORE than one shot.

If you are still a Cop. stay safe my friend, you have my respect.

That single shot hanging out reminds me of a Texas Ranger I heard of who would deliberately wear an unloaded revolver on his hip for a crook to grab. Then the Ranger would pull out his concealed, loaded revolver to continue the dance. A few very surprised perps had a hell of a wake up call.

Did you ever wonder why some pistols have a metal butt cap and it's not for style?

After you shoot your one shot, you turn it around, grab the end of the barrel and hit the individual over the top of the head repeatedly until the desire result is achieved.

In the days of the single shot pistol, many carried at least two and the real backup was a 14” Bowie or short sword if not something longer.
