Had the opportunity to purchase a GRRW Flintlock Indian Trade Rifle. In really good condition. Had some questions about the makers mark that hopefully someone can answer for me. Who is LP? Goes well with my other Lemans, a GRRW Little Leman in .45 and my Leman project that is long over due in .58. The unfinished rifle has a GRRW barrel that I came across 10 years ago.

I talked to Carl Walker last night and he told me Pat Laken's stamp was a large "L" with small "P" for a stamp.

Pat moved back to the Northeast and Carl had heard he has passed on.

Hiverano,
Am picking up a Carl Walker built GRRW Hawken next month. Any chance I could get Carl’s email so I can send him some photos and maybe he can tell me a bit more about thenrifle. Thanks for your time.
