I'm working over my new chambers late ketland before starting to inlet it. I'm at the point of doing the pan and since it's such an awkward and small shape, what's the best techniques to use to remove the as cast finish and polish it while maintaining the crisp edges of the pan? I have some needle files, rifflers, sandpaper, and wet/dry paper. No stones. I have a Dremel, but won't be using it.

Get a 1/4" or 5/16" wood dowel X 12"and round one end. Get some emery of your grit choice. Use the rounded end against the emery. Use elbow grease liberally.

Great ideas. Thank you all! I had thought of dowels but didn't have any small enough on hand. I'll grab some and get on it! I'll have to try a pencil with an eraser too...
