i've owned a flintlock since was 13 or 14 yo. i killed quite a few deer too. i had a right hand fl lyman deerstalker, but i'm a leftie. sold it, got another but left handed. sold it, got another. sold it and now got a left hand fl cva hawkens in 50 cal. i would like to build a kit, but money is tight.

yes, i was disappointed with the closing of goex. i have 2 1/2 lbs of 2f and a 1 lb of 4f. it will last me a couple years. i hope that goex comes back under new ownership. if not, then i'll go swiss or schuetzen. if thats not around, then i'll do something else.
