It depends on the gun / rifle . You take an original Schreight and start reboring it or sleeving it ,your an !diot .... You take an original George Miller half stock and have it rebored and rifled ,good for you . Just make sure you aren't slitting your own throat or destroying a rare piece of history . I have this old Hawken full stock flintlock my great great grandpa had. I’m thinking about having the bore redone to 58. What do you guys think?

Not really…but I do have an old powder horn my great grandpa had.
