I've been told by a friend that R.I.G. rust inhibitor is some of the best you can find, well I can't find it, anyone know of any online stores that sell this?

:thanks:

RIG is often sold in marine or fishing supply stores. I will try to find a bottle to give more details.

I recently got some RIG from Brownells. (www.brownells.com)
They have a huge catalog with about anything gun related you could want.

My brother has used this for 25+yr's and never has had a rust issue for long term storage I think you cant find much better, maybe 30 wght motor oil

Greetings All,

I have used RIG exclusively for 35 plus years to protect all of my BP rifle/pistol bores, and it has never let me down. I have never felt the need to change to another product.

All exterior metal surfaces are also wiped down with RIG. I consider it to be the best product of its kind on the market.

LONG LIVE RIG!!!

Best regards and good shooting,

John L. Hinnant

I cannot remember but I just saw some RIG at either Wallymart or Academy the other day ... could be wrong but you mite call and ask! I use it as well .. great stuff!

I have John Hinnant to thank for re-introducing me to something I have known about for years... :front:
