Range Rod

I'm looking for a one-piece range rod, brass, steel, or aluminum with a swivel handle. The only ones I'm finding online are by Treso, & they look suitable, but are unavailable at present. Does anyone know what companies sell a suitable range rod?

I don't know of any that offer them with a swivel handle, but the ones from Track of the Wolf are nice TOTW

Check with the milsurp sites for surplus 50 caliber rods. They have a swivel handle.

Swivel handle not necessary but if it's yer thang, go fer it. Ox Yoke sells some fine brass rods.

I have plenty of range rods with pinned handles, the reason I'm looking for one with a swivel handle is it'll be used as a loading/wiping rod for my original Whitworth & the jag is hexagonal to fit the bore, a fixed handled rod doesn't allow the jag to follow the rifling.

You can get a "spinjag" to go on a standard range rod. Swivel handle rods are great until you need to scrap the beech or pull a ball, then they are useless.

I once made a rod for lapping a new barrel using a bicycle hub for a handle. Not comfortable but it rotated.

I use a Dewey .50cal cleaning rod. 44 or 48” long and nylon coated one piece steel. Ball bearing handle. Check ‘em out.

You do not need a special black powder rod , I use one piece range rods made by Tetra and other companies like Outers . A rod made for 30 cal+ will do nicely unless your ml has a very long barrel ., I have fitted brass muzzle guards to the tetra rods . Just make sure the rod and any jags you buy have compatible threads
