Can anyone suggest a good range rod. Its for a 54 Cal. Pedersoli Hawken.

Yep...Squirrel, deer and some upland hunting.

Cherry Hill that is a bit far to get together for a shoot. I'm heading out tomorrow to the range with my .40 flinter.

Go to a big time welding shop and see what size brazing rod they have - believe 36" will be max length.

Simple to have one end drilled and tapped for your size attachments and can make handle to suit. I used old pool balls for 2 of mine.

Don't forget a nylon or brass muzzle guide.
