I get my liners from T.J.'s. These are hammer forged 4130 steel and he has a bunch of calibers from 17 to 58. His # is 859-635-5560.
 
if you want to take it out to .500 smooth bore then use a .500 core drill. they are 4 fluted and self centering. i have used that method to made some smooth bores. i did it in my lathe.

i have also freshed out some .45 barrels to use a .451 ball.
