If that's the case and most gunsmiths aren't setup to jug such a small caliber then I guess I'll just see how it shoots as a cylinder bore.
 
You are giving yourself your best advice.

Always shoot it before you sink money into it.

Otherwise you have no frame of reference as to whether choking impoved your performance or not....and it may be fine the way it is!

Being a small bore, I expect it is.
