Reduced. This is an excellent example of a Pedersoli Whitworth rifle (.451). A faithful copy of the rifle favored by Sharpshooters on both sides in the War of the Rebellion. Metal finish is close to 100%. The European Walnut stock would be perfect except for two minor flaws. First, the toe took a hard hit in transit to me. Loosened a piece about 3/4" square. It has been firmly repaired, but slightly visible. Needs to be hit with some super fine sandpaper and oil. The second is a scuff in wood in front of lock. Not a deep scratch, just a longish abrasion. The bore in the 36", 1:20 twist barrel, with its hexagonal rifling, is pristine. Rifle weighs about 9.5 lbs. Date code CP for 2016. A bargain at $1300 + Shipping.
