A very nice SS ROA somehow magically materialized in my shop over the weekend. After seeing your pic I'm tempted to start looking for a lonely SS Super frame laying around loose somewhere. It is. I’m a big fan of this frame. It fits my hand better and as a side benefit I think it balances the big frame and cylinder of the ROA too.
I like them my brother. You are an 1860's fan for sure. I on the other hand lean more toward 1851's and 1858's. The last photo is for you and all my brothers.
Now that is a gorgeous package, Auldjin.Happy to oblige! It's a funny thought but it was probably less than 80 years old when it came into the family.

Not too well at 100 yet, needs the cylinder timed better. Manages about 6 in 5 inches at 50 now, hope to improve alignment someday. Fun though, you can feel heat on your forehead, when you're down on that stock, close to all that BLOOEY.I need to know how that thing does at 100
I love the sights on that DragoonHere you go, these are all I have been able to keep ,they make great trading tools.
I can't wait to fire my 51 Navy with the skeleton stockNot too well at 100 yet, needs the cylinder timed better. Manages about 6 in 5 inches at 50 now, hope to improve alignment someday. Fun though, you can feel heat on your forehead, when you're down on that stock, close to all that BLOOEY.
