Two guns by Robert Watts are featured in "contemporary makers of muzzleloading firearms" by Robert Weil.

What type of info do you need. I knew bob personally and have access to two of his rifles 1 flint & 1 cap.

I was looking for detailed pics of mr. Watts carving and engraving. pic of his patchboxes, tang treatments, entry thimbles, etc, would be greatly appriciated.mr. Watts rifles appear to be so slender and petite, did he build alot of rifles for female family members?

Muzzleblast did an article on him and his guns in the 80's I think contact the NMLRA and see if you can get a reprint. The gun on the cover of that issue is one of the ones that I have access to. No I don't own them, :sorry: A close friend of mine does.

Whitebear, thank you for yor assistance, I am looking forward to those pictures ,if you can obtain them I found the aforementioned book by weil,on amazon, should receive it soon.... :thanks:
