:hatsoff: hope I spelled that right Ron. Met the fella that did the article for Backwoodsman mag on Ron's three big knives. Now I didn't find out if the three he had on the table were Ron's own or just the same three knives. The fella was real personable n complimented Ron's knife collection as incredable :hatsoff: AND when ya actually see those three knives in person, well those are some HONKEN big knives. The HBC, the Spanish flavored one n the Bowie styled are one great big handfull. The amazing thing is that for as big n heavy as they are they sit n feel really well in the hand. I'm a smaller sized dude only 5'4" n around 155lbs, LOL about half Ron's size but the knives still didn't feel awkward or exceptionally heavy in hand and had a sweet balance to them.Not trying to blow smoke here but wanted to say that actually seeing n hefting them was interesting. Ya see n read so much in this hobby n ya wonder what something would really be like n to actually heft something sometimes can really open yer eyes n answer many questions ya may have had. Ron, if those were your actual knives , my thanks for allowing him to bring them to Dixon's Gun Makers Faire to be seen. N if not well thanks anyway for allowing the rest of us poor ba&%$reds to experiece them n see some sweet stuff. just some thoughts YMHS Birdman :hatsoff:
