569.77 Euros is just under $600 USD, that's in the price range of an Indian import. A number of their offerings look identical to Indian made firearms. Basically no bargains if that's true.

Yeah thats what i was hoping to find out about. I just recently sent them an email asking.
They are in Poland turns out, according to website, but with the spanish sounding name i thought it was somewhere else.

About 140 KM west of Warsaw by road. If they had been closer I could have had my wife check them out on her next trip which might not be for quite a while given the current situation over there. They have an impressive website.

Did you ask them exactly where they were made and by whom? That would be important info to know.

Hi,
There is no question it was made in India. The overly buffed metal and clumsy stock are immediate indications. It attempts to be a model 1766 issued to the French navy, hence the brass hardware. Below is a link showing what a real model 1766 should look like albeit with over 250 years of wear and tear. Note the slimmer stock, thin lock panels, better workmanship on the original.
https://auctions.morphyauctions.com...le_Model_1766_Flintlock_Musket-LOT459533.aspxQuality of the repro could range from acceptable for the price to outright junk. It is hit or miss. Hopefully, the workmanship would be better than this "Ketland Officer's Fusil".

The inletting looks to be done with a dull screw driver. You don't need to go to Poland, you can get the same stuff from Loyalist Arms, Middlesex Valley Traders, Military Heritage, Veteran Arms etc in the US and Canada.
