after ruining 3 horns i finally built a nice powder horn, since it took me a ridiculous amount of time already and i dont dare take it hunting i thought id do some scrimshaw on it and hang it on the wall. i have filed the horn down to white in the middle and a couple bands. is it as easy as etching and puting ink on it or will the ink stick to everything and ruin the horn. probably try some on moose horn first.
