Sharps 45 or 54

I’m starting to get into it. Got a sharps 54 cal carbine and a 45 caliber sharps sporting. The 54 is easier to get paper cartridges kits for and they make some great molds too. I maybe not looking in the right place too.
 
I d get a Shiloh percussion Sharps .They are more expensive than the rest but are the best quality wise.I ve had both 45 and 54 and liked both the two Shilohs I have now a sporting rifle and a carbine are both 54cal

If you have "wind" where you live, you will out shoot every .45 you come up against.
Sorry, I take that back,, you won't need wind to out shoot a 45 with a 54. (period)

after I started using Charlie;s Tubes all the cartridge rolling equipment was put away. They make a durable and correct looking flat base cartridge.
Try them you will ever roll another cartridge.
