Does anyone make a detachable shoulder stock to fit the Uberti 1858 Remington?

Davey Bones

I got my shoulder stock from:

Martin B. Retting
11029 Washington Blvd
Culver City, CA 90232
Phone: (310) 837-2412

I got it back in the 1960’s

It’s made for the colt 1851 but works great on my Pietta .44 Remington 1858 and fits just fine. On your Uberti I do not know.

You should machine a notch on the bottom of the grip for the stocks clamp to latch on to. And you must have the oversized replacement hammer screw. I made my own hammer screws

Dixie Gun Works lists them. http://www.dixiegunworks.com/produ...=7271&osCsid=eecb34e91cdfd7f613f7799f4b11e628

Hope that helps
