Yes, some of the past presidents were do nothing people and the high priced Executive Vice President was a very expensive farce however, he is gone and from what I see Rowland is trying to make some changes for the better.

What changes has Winston made beside give LIP SERVICE. Has he spend money on advertising the Western Shoot, that has been promissed TRADER for Years? Again I ask what changes has Winston made beside give LIP SERVICE.

It seems to me that I recently read here on the forum that they have created shooting contests in which using "shooting jackets" will be prohibited.

Yes, this was primarily thru the efforts of one of our great members (rabbit03) but it is an indication that they are willing to make changes for the better.

I'm not sure why I bother to mention this though. Most of our members have already read about that. I'm surprised you didn't see it.

Shooting Jackers, or as I like to called CHEATER JACKS have never been allowed on the Primitive Side of the Range. Yes one of our great members (rabbit03) did have something to do with that. Plus I was also aware of rabbit03's efforts, as I put rabbit03 in touch with an EX BOD Member who was sort of an expert on the subject, and the Ex BOD Member helped rabbit03 with his fight. Did you know that? Also the guy got fedup with the NMLRA after 25 years as a member!

That is good as the Association blew was it 8 or 10 K on that baby to do Yogart two time annually.


Sounds like Winston didn't do much as pres, like the other two do nothing i mention, except write BS in Muzzle Blast.

I've been going through my copies of Muzzle Blasts for the past few weeks, and I have to say that taken as a whole there is very little in them about modern muzzleloaders. Lots of history and articles about original rifles and of course John Curry's stories. Articles on building guns and repairing mistakes--things that would be hard to find in other magazines. Worth the price of admission in my estimation. :v
