Try to get the flip top plastic bottles that the diabetic test strips come in. You can open them with one hand and you won’t lose the lid!. Excellent for powder and shot!
And steel ones were used for both powder and shot in the day, first saw them cased with a fine English double made by Pape.
I lusted after that gun but it was over the horizon in price.
12 gauge and full choke both barrels, rare.

I’ve used the plastic vials but made myself twenty out of brass tube with wooden base plug and stopper.

The case holds about 65 grains of 2f. Other cases may hold more or less. I have them in a wooden box my brother made for me with his laser cutter. I soldered the primer ends just so there is no mistake what they are used for. Totally optional. They can fit in one of those plastic cartridge cases as well. It works for me. The bottle neck cartridge also acts as a nice funnel.
Great idea!

If only they had come up with a way to hold premeasured powder charges back in the day!
They did, glass phials as being sought by the OP. 🙂
