How about posting a picture of your smoothbore here?

Fowlers, Trade guns, smooth rifles.....call 'em what ya want, but, if they have a smooth bore, let's see some pictures of them!

Old, new, fancy, plain.....it doesn't matter.

Descriptions, likes and dislikes welcome too!

Hope we get a lot of eye candy out of this thread, Skychief.

French 1660 fusil ordinaire. 69 caliber smoothbore. Built by me from Rifle Shoppe parts.

12Ga English fowler, Chambers lock, 38" Colerain D weight barrel, jug choked full by Caywood, A nice piece of walnut from Dunlap. I just finished this gun, it has a rear sight and shoots shot and patched ball very well, turkeys beware!

All gorgeous firearms but the best picture is the one showing the expression on Bakeoven Bill's dog. lol

.65 caliber x 48" hand made swamped octagon iron smoothbored barrel and all hand made lock. All hand formed iron fittings except for the side plate & toe plate which are copper. Bone inlet cheek. Plain maple stock. Native to the Carolina's wild rice carving behind the cheek. Engraved on top flat: "JOHN DODD" "CHARLES TOWNE" "1769". JR Salvo made this awesome gun in 1969.

So it's okay if I post my favourite picture of my favourite gun, yet again?
For my part, you can post that one whenever you are in the mood, Squire.
