All of the engraving is from castings.. they are cleaning up somewhat well. I made and dovetailed in the front sight today too. Now is the slow process of figuring out the carving and getting it drawn out. and this is where the build will creep along for a while. So far I am pleased with the progress though.
 
Its a Swampy sized gun.. I may have to send it up so you can blast something with it :thumbsup:

Never really have been a fan of the Poser-parts to be honest.
But I knew before that I´ll like the Roy-Stroh-interpretation. :thumbsup: Didn´t get disappointed! :haha:
Love that horn-cap, that´s how a jaeger should be! :applause:

Roy , On your nose cap, Is that fitted with file work ? also how did you attach it? pinned through the stock?
btw- very nice work on everything ,it's quite inspiring.
 
I just made it like a normal looking nose cap and inlet it onto the gun.. like you would with a cast nose cap.. I glued it with epoxy.. the originals were glued with hide glue so I think I am safe. :haha:
 
Roy , this is the first time I've chimed in on this one so here it goes. The thing is frickin AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :hatsoff: I love the horn cap. I've heard of them but thats the first one I've seen. Thats cool . I may have missed it but what Cal. is it? Nice work!! Andy
