Any names on the top of the barrels? You did really well.

This I just a wild guess, the first one was made after the civil war. The second one was made WAY before the civil war, don't clean it in any way, it is in the preferred "attic condition".

Again, just a guess, others here will know a lot more than I do.
 
I dont have this rifles in my posession yet, have to pick them up from auction house but on the pictures I can see some name stamped on the plate of the first gun, hard to read

How was the bolster mounted to the barrel? I really like the 32 cal gun! It’s my kinda eye candy.
