I can't find anyone who has a set of oversize taps to match the oversize nipples you can get from different places.......can anyone help me find these taps?

Dixie Gunworks suggests that the oversize nipples they sell can be just screwed into the old worn threads.

Do not try this.

If you do, the oversize threads will tend to freeze in place if your lucky. If your unlucky the nipple will freeze in place and break off.

Hopefully you are looking for a tap that is .005 oversize. That would be an "H11" tap.

This link should help you

Check mscdirect.com and look under taps. You can list the parameters in your search routine.
Taps listed as H7 are .003 oversized, H11 is .005 over sized. They carry taps in all sorts of material, HSS to carbide.
When using taps on firearms it's best to use the softest material for taps, carbon over HSS if available,in case you break a tap. It's easier to remove the broken tap. At least that is what I have read in gun smithing books and on the Brownel's site.
