I've been thinkin for some time that I'd like a Spiller and Burr revolver. Seems most reviews are favorable. I'd like to hear from folks here who own one how they like theirs. What kind of loads you run through it and how it shoots. Thanks

Don

I have one that I have had a few years. I bought it 2nd hand. it was a kit gun and whoever built it did an excellant job. It is a great shooter and I also use it for civil war reenacting. I guess I should describe what first caught my attention. The brass frame is just a bit tarnished, and the cylinder and the barrel are browned instead of blued. It was originally a Tradtions. There are no marking whatsoever on the gun anywhere except for 2 initials C.S. stamped in the frame. I bought it for 200 bucks , and will probably stay with me till my son inherits it hopefully in 50yrs or so.

I had one of these about 30 years ago and it never failed me. I shot about 15 grains of 3 f through it. Wish I still had it. I am sure you will have many great years with yours.
