I've been shooting 85 gr. of 2f goex with a.530 round ball and getting a velosity of about 1400 fps. I used up all my goex so I got out my can of 2f swiss I've been saving. I used the same volume measure I used for the goex. What a surprise! Vlosity went up to 1650. I guess if a person was using a max load of goex, he might ought to reduce the swiss startup load. The 2f swiss looks like 3f goex. Anyway my barrel has had 300 gr. of 2f goex and 2 round balls for a proof load. The swiss load did shoot a tighter group

Swiss certainly is a hotter powder than red can Goex. You can drop your Swiss load 15% on average compared to the Goex for the same results. In some cases I can reduce the Swiss powder charge as much as 25%. If you are using a graph on your loads you will quickly figure out the proper ratio for your gun and shot.

You may notice that the Swiss seems to burn cleaner than the Goex (or Schuetzen for that matter). I know that I saw a difference.

I want to try it, I have yet to. Black powder for me has usually meant buying what was easily available at the time. New York State has made it problematic for gun stores to keep black powder so it can be tough. I buy what I can get.

Swiss maybe a good powder, but at $18.00 to $19.00 a pound including shipping I will be using Goex. Just ordered 25 Lb. at $10.78 a pound to my door.

I can't say I blame you.
Speaking of prices, there are some BP substitutes that make Swiss look inexpensive.

IMO, that's the best way to buy it for sure...either by yourself or splitting a case with someone, you can't beat a case price...mine was $10.90/lb last month
