Setting up at a gun show here in Maine a dealer had a Seneca with a peep sight. Dark bore but it cleaned up. Dealers are notorious for not taking care of their muzzle loaders. I guess I'll sell my tacked up one. Keep an eye out in the classifieds.

It's coming along nicely, Of course it has the common crack above the lock bolt.
I picked up a Pedesoli longrifle at the show yesterday. It will require some elbow grease for sure. I also ended up with a range box with 2lbs 4F, 1 lb 2F and lb 1 3F. It was worth the walk to his vehicle.

bought a seneca , and cherokee , in .45 , for three hundred dollars at auction . i sold the Cherokee to some young fella that just had to have it , for six hundred dollars.
