Well it were dry enough, but never reached 40 degrees on my fair weather thermometer. I didn't look at the cold one, just went out to git another load of wood. :shake:
 
SATURDAY: 16 hardy shooters, -35 wind chill, frozen fingers, feet, my nose was so cold it would`nt run.
I was using spit patches and they froze as soon as the came out of my mouth. two of my patch round balls froze to the barrel half way down and I had to pound them down with a heavy brass range rod, This was not the coldess shoot I`ve ever been to but it was close. when it was over we all went in to the club house where they had HOT CHILI waiting for us. just one more thing the shoot lasted for 3 hrs
 
well we were only at 26 to 32* but our rondy went off. a goodly amount of us made smoke and palavered most of the day.
thats what its all about isnt it? :winking:
