While I agree with this statement, I'd like to know why "working together" always seems to mean that traditionalists, that just want some time in uncrowded fields and forests plying their traditional methods ALWAYS...ALWAYS have to give in to more modern hunters' desires to use "their equipment choice" in a special season? How about the more modern crowd "work together" with traditionalists to allow them a little time, which is usually after the "moderns" have long had their time first anyway? "Working together" isn't a one way street where one party is always the giver, but that's the way it works out.Time hunters work together not against each other..!
If you think "working together" won't affect early bow seasons, think again. In my state, it started with a "kids" gun season in late Oct. Now that has morphed to include adults.
Our late muzzleloader season has seen the first weekend invaded by shotgunners in the SE zone, and also a special "everything goes unlimited buck and doe kill allowed" period that impacts the late bow season.
