I believe that is why Bud Light was invented...to wash the taste out of the mouth after eating quiche. And Ernest P. Whirl said that real men don't eat quiche.

Gave up ice cream due to the IDIOT, when he is gone going to start up liking it again.Everyone talks about pie, why no love for the required ice cream to truly enjoy it?
With a nice drizzle of Kentucky Burbon sauce over it. And perhaps two fingers of said Kentucky windage in a glass to wash it down with.Kentuckey Derby, which is Pecan pie on top a layer of chocolate pie, is addictive.
Bud Light has taste? Who knew?I believe that is why Bud Light was invented...to wash the taste out of the mouth after eating quiche.
OK, now we are getting way off track.......meat in pie? Next thing you will be telling me they put shepherds in pies! What no one like mincemeat pie.
My mother was born and raised in Florida as was her mother. They made true Key Lime pies. Made with real key limes, and yes with Eagle brand. Not like the imposter pies one finds in grocery stores. Neither of them, God rest their souls, ever set foot in Idaho. I miss all of their cooking. Southern ladies of their generations were not merely good cooks, they were masters of the culinary arts Southern style. They make key lime pie up in idaho!?! Cool, would like to try hers; I thought we had a patent on it down here LOL. Yep Key Lime Pie is one of my best memories as a young man in central FL. Gotta make it real rich with Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk.
That would be the perfect meal for me if it were 30 degrees cooler here. Too hot to eat, all I can do is drink! Now you made me hungry for real fried chicken, potato salad, peach pie and homemade ice cream.
I truly feel your pain. Properly made true southern fried chicken is darn near a spiritual experience. Now you made me hungry for real fried chicken, potato salad, peach pie and homemade ice cream.
You type to fast, I’ll start sweating if I type any faster.Don't start @TDM just because you got access to all that.

My wife is a professional baker. A few years ago she won middle TN district fair fruit pie 1st place with her peach cobbler. It is a real challenge trying to lose weight living with that, so your point is a legitimate one. But you should see what she can do with blackberries. Sourdough cinnamon rolls took the gold last year...Don't start @TDM just because you got access to all that.
