Anyone care to share a pattern for a throwing knife?
I would like to make one that looks enough like a belt knife to harry, yet could use as a thrower?
Thanks in advance.

I have three different types of throwing knives. If you post an email address I'll try to send you some sketches. :idunno:

No need for a specially shaped "throwing" knife. IMO

Any knife with a straight, smooth handle and a little weight will work just fine. You can pick up a cheap "Bowie", like the one pictured below, replace the slabs with leather and it will last a lifetime. Or, you can get a blank from a knife maker's supply and slap some leather on it.

Thanks all for the advice.
I had one I made that I used for many years.
It was a litle toooo heavy, and awful ugly. But it was ok.
Then some guy volunteered to take it home and work on it in his forge to make it "look" allot better.
That was about two years back, and the last I ever saw of him.
So I guess it's time for me to replace it with something.
Thanks again.
