I have one I bought off a blanket at Ft. Frederick a few years back. Bubba had defarbed it and coned the barrel. It didn't group well! I have a gunsmith friend who is an 11 degree crown nut. He re crowned it at 11 degrees and now it's a shooter!

I owned Crockett rifle and it would keep three shots under a quarter 90% of the time at 25 yards. Many groups cut clover leafs. There were a few things about it I didn't care for but accuracy wasn't one.
