Not sure this helps Forrest, but I think the Deerhunter is pretty close in dimensions and thimbles to their Woodsman I own. 28" barrels, I think.
Its ramrod's total length is 27 5/16" with a brass ball driver on one end and a fitting for a jag, ball remover etc. on the other.
I mic'd its diameter at .351", so somewhere around 11/32". It may nominally be called 3/8". I think Track of the Wolf has a variety of replacements. The delron ones will feel like spaghetti, but don't break generally. I only use mine when hunting. I have a stainless steal range rod from Track or RMC Ox-Yoke that is best for plinking. Good luck.
