Traditions Mountain rifle conversion

I have a Trad Mtn Rifle in percussion that I purchase a few years ago and it has just been sitting there. Havent gotten around to shooting it yet. I got it as I had heard that they were great shooters and I purchased it at a good price. Now I am thinking of using it, but in the mean time I have become more of a rock chucker. So the question is...Has anyone done this and was it worth it OR would I be better just selling it and buying the flinter version.

I converted a CVA Hawken to flint lock. It was easy and I bought a new lock for it, then drilled and tapped the broken off bolster and added a flash hole liner. Here are the 2 threads about converting it, thought I started another thread with pictures but I can't find it.

L&R lock company makes locks for CVA and Traditions if you don't already have one. Don't know the price on a flint lock but I'm thinking about getting the cap lock for my CVA Hawken. It's just a couple hundred bucks. Those barrels are good enough to make that new lock worth the investment. Replace the drum with a liner and yer all set.

Edit: it is pretty simple and straightforward with a CVA so I assume it should be the same with a Trad. Not sure.
