Careful now , there might be children watching.
Bet for sure you left out all the hard stuff (STEEL) and other junk !/EdHad several occasions when I was starting out with muzzleloaders where I got a ball stuck part way down the barrel (t/c Hawken) and remember one was about a foot down the barrel. In all cases had 100 grains of FF loaded and a large gap between powder and ball. Just pointed the barrel up and pulled the trigger. No damage done and barrel still like new, still shooting it 30 years later.
On a slightly different note got a bullet stuck half way down a Ruger American a year or so ago. Filled barrel with black powder and also filled a primed case and fired the obstruction out. Barrel is good as new.
Hes got 120 grain powder behind it what he got is a pipe bombYep do a search for stuck ball. A million answers. Easiest way is to remove your nipple and trickle at least 5-10 grains of power into the barrel. Use a wire to force it in there and tap the gun until you get a little power in the barrel. Put the nipple back on and shoot it out. That little amount of powder will not hurt your barrel if the ball isn’t fully seated. You’ll find a dozen different ways that will be way more difficult.
When I wrote that response his original post didn’t state he had 120’grains of powder in the barrel. He edited his post to add that after I responded. The way it was first written he had a dry ball situation.Hes got 120 grain powder behind it what he got is a pipe bomb

YouMy concern is that the patch worm got bent and I'm worried it's sitting against the rifling so I'm not sure how it'll go e.g. blow up or stuff my rifling if I send it off with 120gr powder.
I have used a brass rod more than once to seat a ball stuck short of the powder charge. There are no problems if you follow the rules of how to load and care for your rifle/pistol. Regardless of what we say here someone one will screw up again. It is part of human nature. Most of these stuck ball threads start with someone NOT having a steel/brass ramrod. They are using the guns wood or fiberglass rod. If the OP had a good range rod he could have gotten that ball on the powder. It may have taken a lot of effort but it would have went. I’ve never had one stuck so bad you couldn’t beat it down the barrel. A good rod wouldn’t have broken either if by some chance a ball puller was required. In this case there is powder in the barrel so driving it home would have been the answer. If it was a dry ball, I’ve never had a ball that wouldn’t shoot out with a little powder trickled in after removing the nipple or through the touch hole. Oil or water Contaminated powder might require a ball puller but that is the shooter’s fault for not cleaning his gun prior to loading. I’ve made all of the boo boos in the past and never needed a grease gun or an air compressor or CO2. Have all the right tools to prepare for the worse.
Many times it takes an incident like this to finally convince a shooter to buy a nice range rod. A good range rod would have seated the ball alleviating ball pullers and broken bits and pieces. Dry balls are a different situation but I’ve found a little 3F or 4f trickled in the drum or touchhole sends those sailing out the barrel. You

Complaining is human nature. People complain about everything weather ,politics, food, cars, hair and on and on and on! Some people would complain if you hung them with a new rope? LOL!I don't have any suggestions for the OP, but I've read through the entire thread thinking I just might learn something myself.
I can't understand why so many members post just to complain about the subject matter in the thread. If you think it's a dead horse then don't open the thread. How hard is that? To join the discussion solely to complain about the subject matter tells me you are one of those who just want to increase your post count as though that gives you some kind of prestige.
I scroll by threads that don't interest me all the time. It's not that difficult.
