Uberti 1861 navy

Good morning everyone I was curious as to what everyone’s thoughts are regarding the short arbor problem on the uberti 1861 navy model I can’t hit anything with it at 25 yards doesn’t even hit paper I’ve tried all different loads ff powder fff powder it makes no difference I’ve tried different size balls wads no wads grease no grease accuracy is horrible at 25 yards gun otherwise is tight timing is perfect lockup is perfect barrel to frame fit is perfect I’m at a loss here it seems to shoot way to the right but elevation is good I have to aim a foot to the left at a target to hit paper gun is brand new has maybe 200 rounds through it does the arbor issue affect accuracy that bad ?

Is the front sight in the middle of the barrel or is it leaning to the side? Does it look bent? Is the hammer notch in the center of the hammer? Is the hammer in the center of the hammer slot in the frame?

Yes all of the above the front sight is centered so is the rear nothing is bent I even took out my other navy pistols thinking it was me and had no problem hitting the target

Pretty sure I can identify your problem.
The barrel / loading rod assembly may not be fitted up in perfect alignment with the pistol frame.
To check for this, turn the gun upside down with the gun pointing away from you. Holding it thus, bring it up to near eve level and look straight down the length of the gun while lining up the center of the butt, trigger guard, and barrel assembly. You will probably see that the barrel assembly angles off to one side or the other from the center line of the frame.
I have had this problem with 2 different .36 Pocket Navies, and sent them both back to the importer (Cimarron Arms) for warranty replacement, which they did promptly.
The Italian percussion revolver manufacturers seem to have some real quality control problems with the smaller frame guns for some reason.
