I saw the "1851 sheriff", but didn't know if there's a diff between the army and navy types of Piettas. (still new to this stuff...)

Don't know, I got there with a ton of other muzzleloading supplies I bought at auction. I don't deal with percussion pistols. Maybe someone on the forum knows.

Ruger old army uses 12X28 threaded nipples, if that helps. steg49
Does it give the size of the nipples somewhere on the package? I am very interested but do need to know what size they are.
