Here is an interesting project for you, a scratch built underhammer action. This has been machined from a solid block of steel and measures 2 9/16” tall, 2 11/16” long, 1 1/2 “ thick and weighs 2 lb. 9oz. The hammer has a half cock and the spring may need work. The person I got it from said it was cut for a Remington 870 stock and is threaded 5/16-18. The breech plug hole is ¾-16 and about 11/16” deep.
