Seems we all will make a cutting tool at some point and I’m no different. Each of these get used as needed and were forged, filed and ground by my hand except the blade of the littlest blade. Hickory handles for the hawks are tapered and egg shape in cross section and the double edged handle is walnut. The hilts of brass were my first attempt at programming a CNC but everything else was free hand. Got all the knives we need so don’t mess with them anymore.

Nicely done! People keep using the “N” word, Need. Never too many sharp or shooting objects. lol.

Not to worry we have plenty of things around here that don’t get used. I have found that having lots of stuff not only uses up my money and/or time. Late in life the realization that having one or two of the best is more satisfying than many of lesser quality. Plus it allows my efforts to go into other things, like hunting, fishing, camping, shooting, drinking, and a host of other less important pursuits. We all have to fine what’s important to us.

Your knives look good!
I have noticed since being on this forum that there are a lot of talented people here. My talent, for what it is, is not makeing anything but useing what others make. I know you are not supposed to envy what others make and do but you fellows make it hard not to have a little jealousy?
We have a lot of members that I wish would post? I can only imagine what talent is lurking out there?
