if it's like the nationals at friendship, you can register for a single day or the whole week. i'm gonna hazard that 50$ is for the whole week.
no, it's not just for one match, you buy the targets for whatever match you are shooting. usually it's just a couple of bucks for a target.

Normal fee for the entire shoot. This shoot is not held on grounds owned by the NMLRA and the NMLRA provides the powder magazine for its members as well. It seems that the Western shoot this year is set up to cover cost. This keeps the pennypinchers out.
I guess the State of Arizona collects a good amount of this fee for the use of the range facilities. I guess about 20.00 per shooter....

Registration fee covers cost of using Ben Avery range and went up because participating (people who actually shoot) requested an additional day and agreed to the price hike in order to have additional day of shooting.

Guessing don't count, report back when you do you research, and know facts. Contact AZ Game & Fish for truth on pricing.

I could care less. The western shoot is too far away anyways. Friendship is closer.
The registration at Friendship usually is $30, there must be a reason for the $50 registration out west. dixie just gave you the justification. He is on the board of directors and knows it first hand. But my guess was right....

Can't afford to drive to either but it is fun to read the annual grousing from the usual suspects... :hatsoff:

Wow I just realized they are adding an extra day of shooting, on the front end of the shoot. A Tuesday :youcrazy: . That should bring out how many more registered shooters. I am not sure but would bet they do break any record on number of registered shooter. LOL.
