What are my options?

I’m learning as I go after just picking up a Lyman GPR. I’m having a blast shooting it already and absorbing as much info as I can! Anyway, I’d really like to pick up a case to carry it in when I’m taking it places as well as get a sling for it to carry over my shoulder when I’m hunting or walking with it. What kind of options do I have for either of these items for my GPR? Is there certain types or suggestions you may all have? Show me some photos of your carrying cases and/or slings for your muzzleloaders please. Thanks

I keep my GPR in a conventional soft case designed for a shotgun. I don't use slings on my ml rifles but others here do so watch for them to chime in.

This is the sling I use. laces up on bottom and loops over the barrel. As far as cases, I bought some canvas material and made one that just slips over the rifle and has a fold over flap that I tie closed with a shoe lace. No pic's of it.

Very nice! Does the front of that slide easily up and down the barrel? Where do you get something like that?

Purchase one from someone on this site, the online slings have very poorly built straps.
