Dave,

From reading your posts, I would enjoy meeting you as well. However, the only time I have ever been in Alaska was when I was on the way back from Okinawa my last time. We had a layover in Anchorage, so I made a point of going outside to bush off the snow and touch the ground. Alaska was one of the last of the 50 states I visited and this little ritual was part of it.

Hi Gus,
I am no longer in Alaska. I moved to Vermont and make quite a few trips to NJ and PA to visit family and go to events like Dixon's. I am planning on going to the 18th century artisan's show in Lewisburg, PA during February. Maybe we will meet at some event like that. You are always welcome to visit me in VT.
