Hypathetical question....
Lets say that the tree humpin hippies get lead outlawed cuz its bad for tic and chigger digestive tracks and all thats left is the kids stash of marbles.
Could you load three in a line to shoot a deer sized critter for dinner? Would you use a patch between ea sphere? Any other tangents to be added here?

No, they're far too light...I'd bet lunch if you shot a deer with one at 30-40 yards it would bounce off

if they bounced right off wold that make it ok to use as crowd controll at the next panty burning to save the trees party here in Oregon? :hmm:

Spent a few years living down in Roseburg (loved that area!) Watched a couple good old boys cut the ponytail offa hippie hitch hiker that stoped at the wrong bar in Winston once. Brings a tear of joy to my eye just remembering when loggers walked the earth :)

Now that would be great to be able to use my muzzle loader at the crowd controll event!

I've always thought it would be great to find a paint ball that would fit a muzzleloader...after deer hunting for a few decades, particularly when I don't use venison and give my deer away anyway, it reaches a point where it really doesn't matter if I kill one or not...so it seems like it would be a hoot to just start shooting them with a paintball...sort of like the tag & release of big game fishing...shoot as many as you want and not worry about using up all your tags...just put a hunter orange splat on them and look for another one

I smell a multimillion dollar patent here...dont let that thought die!
Civil War re-enactment just got a whole lot funner too :applause:

My friend Grizz has perfected shooting paintballs out of a flintlock. The paintballs are .60 so he shoots them out of a large smoothbore pistol. He uses a charge of about 5 or 10 grains. I am sure he will be on here to give a full description of the loading and shooting procedure.

Grizz uses it for demonstrating shooting at Historic events for the porkeaters. They love to see things go splat.
